Please help with bachlorette party ideas

My friends keep asking me where or what I want to do for bach party. I'm at a loss.
I really don't go out to bars/clubs anymore so I have no clue what or wheres a fun place to go.
The ideas that have been thrown up were comedy club, going to a club ( with no cheesy guys trying to hit on us), bar hopping, or going to a place that nobody knows the name of.Maybe someone can help us. Its a show that later turns into a club ( in the city) for bach partys b-day partys etc.. We've heard of it and no one knows the name of it
The only thing I don't want to see is strippers. Any suggestions

What about LIPS? Thats in the city if you like that... or strike or Jillians if you like LI ?!?
We have no idea what to do either.. Supposedly I am getting two BP parties!! One a little early.. late summer or october everyones going to six flags for the day together :) boys n girls... really just an excuse to get everyone together and hang out

What is LIPS? is it a club with 80's music? I think that I've heard of it.

Anyone else have any suggestions? I would really appreciate it.

We're doing a joint bachelor/ette party. The thought of getting just my friends together is scary adn we love excuses to get all of us together!! We're going to go and see a dinner show and then go out to a bar (possibly) or else we may end up bowling later on (I'm not into the whole drinking scene)... it should be fun.
We talked about getting everyone together to go to great adventure as well but are going to wait until it gets closer and warmer out.

The show that later turns into a club is either The Donkey Show or Birdie's at the Culture Club (80's music). Either of those would be fun for a bachelorette party. Think of things you're inetrested in and run with it. If you like to sing, have a karaoke party, if you like baseball, go to a Yankee game, if you're a gambler, you can go to AC or Foxwoods for the night, if you like rides, the amusement park is always a fun option. Me and my friends are planning on going away for a weekend to just sit on the beach and relax. You can always go to somewhere like Newport for the weekend, there's lots to do.

what ever you do DO NOT go to hunkamania!! LOL!

i went with my friends and we did not like it. the men were really very touchy feely and at one point my friend said that when she went on stage for a dance the dancers you-know-what was inches from her mouth. it was hanging out no joke! some drunken lady pulled of his g string.

i hear mangia e bevia in the city is fun. it is a restaurant but they make you dance on the table and stuff like that. my sis went there for her bday. good luck and keep track of ideas, i will need them soon!!!

mangia bevi is a great place for dinner and fun. they put music on during dinner and give out tambourines. My friends took me to The Karoke SHow, sister show of the Donkey show. they have a show which has songs you can sing along to- great songs too. and then you sign up to sing. My girls signed me up for Like a Virgin.. pic 11 girls up their singing Madonna. It was so much fun... then we went to Red Rock West ( COyote ugly) and Hogs and Heifers. i always wanted to experience that. We had a blast.

They took me out for a seocnd night to Don Juans. they had me dancing in the aisles and took me up on stage to do silly things. It was a lot of fun!
