Please Help With Florist

I just called a vendor which was my first choice for a florist and she just told me that they are not available because she already has 2 weddings the same day as my wedding day Can anyone recommend a good florist that will not cost so much money?

My friend booked Designs By Rose (vendor here) and has been very happy with their service and prices so far.

The bulk of your floral costs come from the centerpieces. I went to 14 florists and was quoted a low of $65 (Nat'l Floral Wholesale) and a high of $95 (Flower Michelle). All quotes were for low CPs with candles. Flowers by Burton changed their price when I changed the candles from pillar to floating (reduced by $10).

I ultimately booked Nancy at Open House Country in Stony Brook. She came in at a price I could afford, with the flowers I wanted, and the sample captured what I was looking for.

Open-House Country is who I went with. Nancy is really sweet and does great work.

You could also look into Sugar Magnolias or La Blossoms, both very good.

I always use the same florist for all my flower needs - Kathy at Port Jefferson Florist. She has the most unique designs, very natural looking and different. I couldn't believe her prices were so reasonable considering how gorgeous her designs are!

Also if you want to do a little research there is a place in Farmingdale by the library that did a wedding this weekend my FMIL and FBIL worked catering for and brought home the centerpiece and it was phenomenal!!! I was so impressed - gorgeous blue orchids (i've never seen blue orchids) and a cinderella castle. I'm sorry nobody new the name but everybody said it was Farmingdale near the library.

I think it's Mankers Florist. My FI alway gets my flowers from there. They do a great job. I'm actually going to make an appt. with them

I was really looking for a place that would keep my budget down, so I will call around to all these places and see who has nice flowers for a reasonable price. Your input has really helped me though - Thank You again!! I love this website, you girls are the best!

You have to tell them if that was there centerpiece that everyone was blown away at how gorgeous it was!!

I love love love Flower Barn and they have been phenomenal - but i was so impressed by these orchids I would have loved to have met with the person who made the arrangement - so creative!!!
