Please help with honeymoon suggestions!

Please help with honeymoon suggestions!

We booked the first 5 nights of our honeymoon in the Poconos. Now we want to go to a different resort for the last 4 nights. Somewhere within about a 2 hour drive of the Poconos, doesn't matter where as long as there's lots to do! Any ideas?

You are a summer bride, how about Maryland? Weather will be beautiful! Or go historic, maybe Philly area? I love it there!

I don't know how far..but what about Foxwoods or Mohegan sun..would you be interested in doing that? Don't know where else

ETA: Just saw you were summer..what about the jersey shore? in Cape May? you could stay in aB&B, very romatic

Thanks!!

Okay, more specific: I don't *think* we want to do a B&B... we really like the idea of a resort where there's lots to do right on the premises. I've never stayed in Maryland... any suggestions for good resorts there? Or in Cape May?

I LOVE Foxwoods, but it will be way too dangerous for us to go there on our honeymoon... we are terrible gamblers and are sure to blow all the money we get from the wedding.

Its definately more than a 2 hour drive, but what about Cape Cod, Marthas Vinyard, or Nantucket.....

You may decide to be really active while you're in the Poconos and may want to just take it easy the last couple of days. What about going to Newport? I know it's more than 2 hours, but you can relax and still have lots of options for things to do. Another great place is Lake George. There's a lot, as well as a little to do there as well. Would you consider going away-away? You may be trying to save money, but you can get a great last minute all-inclusive deal that would be less than a hotel around here. Check out www.travelzoo.com for some options. I know you said you only wanted to go away for 4 nights, but this may make you reconsider:

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Travel dates: May 1 - Jun 6, 2004

Non-Stop 7 nights All-Inclusive from JFK, Newark, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Hartford:
Barcelo Villas Bavaro from Newark & Baltimore - $379
Allegro Punta Cana from Newark & Baltimore - $479
Iberostar Dominicana - from $679
Iberostar Bavaro - from $879

What about this seapointe village
This place is located in Wildwood Crest - NJ which is a 5 minute drive to Cape May. (which I love)
There are also waterparks and the boardwalk in Wildwood w/ rides and games.
The only thing about where this is located is that there are a lot of families around there. If that doesn't bother you I saycheck it out!
