Please help with ideas for....

my engagement party theme!!! I need some serious help. I went to party city and the only thing they had a ton of was luau and I don't want to do that. My fh said how about a black and white theme but it is a backyard party this July. I would REALLY appreciate any ideas. TIA

A neighbor of mine did a 50's theme for her graduation party. It was actually a lot of fun and every one participated and got dressed up in 50's fashion. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

we're just doing a blue theme ---- different variations of blue for everything, from the dress, to the plates, to the tablecloths, to the ribbon on the chocolate lollipops.

You can go with
1. a beach theme ( not so much hawaiin though but including seashells, sand things water u get the idea......
2. hearts/love
3. mardi gras if youre into it
4. already mentioned b4- but a color theme (like all pink or your favorite color)
5. casino theme
6. movie theme ( if you are movie junkies - Fi's suggestion ;)

We did sort of a chinese theme...

We got our paper goods from Party City it had like chinese writing and it was creme,black, green and red..and just worked around those colors..everyone thought it was so different
