My dress came in today and with 36 days to go, I am seriously sick to my stomach with doubt. The dress I ordered was supposed to be in silver and white. Well, today when I went to see it (not get fitted, just see it) it's not silver and white. It is definately white and gold with silver accents. The company says that the dress is only available in white and silver, but the dress is definately gold. I don't know what to do. I had my veil made with silver, all my jewelry is silver, and my shoes are silver. This was my own fault for not getting to see the dress in silver and white and just assuming that silver and white was silver and white. This is NOT the bridal store's fault, but I feel its the manufacture's fault for making the dress gold. Sorry for rambling, but I am furious and so upset right now...

do you have any pictures so we can see? maybe if it has silver accents it will still be ok? i'm having trouble envisioning it based on the description you gave....don't worry, it will work out somehow!!

The pictures I saw online definately made the dress look silver and white but in person it is not.. it is gold and white with a few silver beads placed on it.

My ering (and prob yours) is silver (plat) and I wear it with every color. Your jewelry and shoes and accessories are fine...

I hate the dress because its goldish. Its funny because I just said to one of my BMs I know no one will notice, but I will notice...I left the store and cried...

What dress is it? I know that mine has silver lace but also has the option of gold lace, I tried mine on and it was silver though, but I know another company makes it only in gold... im rambling but Im curious.

That's the thing....this dress doesn't HAVE an option of coming in gold and white...it's supposed to come in silver and white but when my mom came in to the store she said is this gold?? And again, I must STRESS that this has nothing to do with the salon, it is the manufacture....I just don't know what to do...I know I am rambling but I am stressed beyond belief right now

if the dress has silver in it also, then i am sure silver jewlery will all go with your dress, do you have any pics?? My dress has gold and silver in it too, and would probably go better if i wore all gold jewlery, but i am not into gold. I am wearing white gold and it still goes fine. I am sure you will look lovely! I dont blame you for being upset though, I would go back and try it on with all of your jewelery and veil and see how you feel.

your dress is beautiful! do you think possibly it was the lighting in the store that made it look gold? i know when i first found my dress, it looked one way, then when i tried it on again in another store it looked completely different, and i realized it was the lighting (i went to the original store again to try it on). i'm so sorry you're upset about how it looks. i hope you can figure something out. either way, i think you'll be fine with silver jewelry and shoes, it goes with everything!

that's my dress also.. i was told it comes in all white... or ivory/cafe/silver. The top is ivory with i guess goldish embroidery. and the band is cafe..skirt is silver... but there shouldn't be too much gold so i would def. look into that.. maybe ask the manufacturer..here's a pic from the manufacturer

this is a shot my BM took of me in the sample.. there wasn't really any gold in it.. and it came in the ivore/cafe/silver..so i would def. talk to them about it!! it;s not the best pic cause it's from a cell phone.. it's the only one i got though..lol
