Mine too!!! When FI realized I didn't care about the name as much as the size of the diamond, he was thrilled and was able to get a much better ring without having 'tiffanys' inscribed.

Your ring is classic. My mommy has the same. Loved it ever since I was a little girly :)

Yup, by not paying for the Tiffany's name, we got a better quality, bigger diamond. Also, the ring appraised for a lot more than we paid for it, too... which scares us... b/c we think a Tiffany's ring would have appraised for less than they are selling it for. It's all in the name. I'm not saying I don't love little blue boxes, but for this purchase, it made sense for us to look elsewhere! We couldn't afford the same quality ring if it had Tiffany's inscribed on it.

I'm glad you like the setting. I have dreamed of exactly this ring since I was a little girl... I was soooo lucky the man of my dreams gave it to me!

Yeah, that's my ring, princess cut, brilliant etc.... Really good quality. And the size (pretty great if you ask me!!) Don't think the pic does it justice :)

We also went to Tiffany & Co. to look at rings and it was way way overpriced for the size and clarity of the stone. plus there is no way of getting around paying sales tax because its a publicly traded company. I defin think its a fun experience to go in there and try on the rings for fun, and then go get a copy made with a better stone for alot cheaper!!
