Please, I need help with a shuttle bus

I'm looking for transportation for about 40 people from the hotel to ceremony/reception (I'm getting married at the hall) and back to the hotel at the end of the night. It's only about a 15 minute ride but the prices I'm being quoted seem so high! Can someone please forum mail me how much they're paying? I'm looking at paying $850 if I go with the quotes I have now.....

Do you already have a limo booked (not for the shuttling, but for you)? have you thought about asking your limo company?

We haven't used them yet (have signed the contract), but they were recommended. Most reasonable prices I've seen yet. Our package involves multiple buses and multiple pick ups, so it's really not a good basis for comparison. They were really nice and accomodating on the phone!

Check out this really old post...I started this awhile ago. I waited to the last minute so everyone was booked and paid about $550 or so for mine. If I remember correctly, other places were alot lower. (I had about a 8 minute drive each way - hotel and hall.)

Make sure you put in your contract where the bus will be during the reception if you are paying for that time. A lot of buses take off nad just come back for the pickup. I asked mine to wait in the parking lot in case of emergency.
