Please!!!! I need to be referred to a wedding consultant...
My fiance and I have collectively worked weddings for 13 years at East Wind caterers. Because of that we have seen everything that goes on behind the scenes, and we have 'attended' literally hundreds of weddings. In more ways than one this has ruined our excitement about getting married at a catering hall. We are looking to have something different. We are also interested in speaking to a wedding consultant. If anyone has any suggestions as to what we could do to make our wedding day different, or if anyone knows a reputable wedding consultant, we would greatly appreciate your imput.

I have had some preliminary conversations with Judith Garner about 'day of' coordination, I'm not sure if she does more extensive planning. nsgraham booked her for her wedding. FM me if you want her info.

If I were in your position - I would seriously consider a destination wedding!!! I was originally planning on this but realized I was too traditional at heart but I loved and still love the idea. My consultant was Lisa Light and she is very experienced in this sort of thing. Checkout her website and Good Luck!!

I am giving you my favorite suggestion--
We had the same kind of deal b/c my fi is in a wedding band (Code Bleu) and has been in all the catering halls for work every weekend and had trouble getting excited about stuff.
We wanted to have our day at Atlantis Marine World aquarium (Riverhead), but our parents vetoed it. I still think it's an awesome idea, though, and highly encourage you to check it out. The staff is super, and the wedding would really be unique and fun!
