Sorry to post about this again. I did try estelle's and will try RK later this week...but if you are stopping in a bridal store, please keep your eyes open for short and tea dresses. (Non-strapless, v or scoop neck). It is hard to figure out which stores have them. Promise it's my last post. Thank you so much for your help!!

You are all the best!
Thank you all sooooo much. My mom lives far away,I have no sisters, and almost all of my friends are single, so having you all take the time to post pix means so much.
I am looking for a short or tea bridal gown, I eloped in April, but I am having a medium size reception in Montauk.
I just think since I am already married, a short gown is the way to go. It would still feel bridal and special, but also a little more fresh and informal. I have seen a lot of these in magazines.
I actually have a veil...it is kind of a sassy little veil with polka dots, that I would like to wear.
My favorites are by a company called Stephanie James, but I have not found an East Coast store. I also like one by moonlight. I really need to try stuff on I have a tricky body. I am headed to RK tomorrow morning.
If all else fails I have a little white dress I could wear, or the dress from when I eloped, but I would like something nicer. Thank you soooo much for caring about a stranger...it's kind of touching!

I haven't started my dress shopping yet, but my friend got one a David's Bridal last year. It was really cute. Your veil sounds awesome. Do you have a picture of it?

This is the dress that I'm getting for my E-Party. Its by Betsey Johnson and its call Tea Party. They only have one color on her website right now, which is the pink and blue one. I'm getting the one in the pic from ebay. As you can see... This dress has been worn for a wedding.
I was just looking thru the Priscilla of Boston cataloge and they had a bunch!! Good luck!

You can also get a long dress and have it cut. Since most girls get alterations anyway, the seamstress told me it doesn't matter if they cut an inch or two feet.
