Please ladies....I need Prayers
Ok I know some of you know my mom has been sick. For those of you that don't she has stage 4 lung cancer. We didn't even know until she started having strokes around May of this year. She's had about 5 in total and because of the strokes she developed a seizure disorder. (The cancer was causing the strokes). She's been through hell and was getting better....
This morning my mom had a seizure (her first one since august) and fell and hit her head in the bathroom. She was rushed to the ER and had another one while they were giving her a CAT scan. I, of course, forgot my cell phone today at home and didn't even find out until around 12:45. She's at the hospital right now and will be there for the next few days. We don't know if she had another stroke, but it looks like it might just be a seizure. I really hope it wasn't. As of now she seems fine, just tired and groggy. She's got a nice gash on the back of her head though from where she fell and its pretty swollen. I really hope she's ok.
She's made so much progress these last few months. It hasn;t been easy for her. My mom was a very strong, independant woman who basically ran our whole family. To put it into perspective, she is just learning how to count and write her name again. Aside from going through physica, occupational and speech therapy, multiple rounds of Chemo, finishing, now going through Radiation every day for the past 6 weeks with 2 more weeks to go....this happens....
I'm sorry this is so long. I'm more venting than anything else, but I would really like all of you to pray for her. Please.
