Please let me know what you would do!

My FH and I are going home to LI in a week to see my mom and look at a few places. My mom is getting a WHOLE bunch of ppl together, my friends, her friends and family to have a little celebration. But...Im not sure if i want to tell everyone before hand or surpise everyone together. What would you guys do?

are you talking about announcing your engagement? If I were you, i'd wait until the party to surprise everyone...better yet, i'd arrange for it to be on camera so that you get to watch everyone's reactions later on...I think it'd be fun that way

I think it'd be a lot of fun to surprise everyone, I wish I could have done it that way but my mom has a big mouth

Silly me, Yes it is to announce our Engagement! sorry just got home from work. I have had my full share of screaming children and unhappy parents for one day ( I work at the magic kingdom in FL)

lol its prolly just as bad, at least you can call mom and dad in and talk to them when their kid isnt behaving....I have to smile at them and tell them to have a 'Magical Day!' even tho i want to strangle their kid! haha

FH and I are going to Disney in October and while looking at all the Disney stuff, i told FH i want to work in disney too How much fun would that be! Work everyday in the happiest place on earth! Lucky you!!!

But in regards to your question, if you could trust your mom to keep her mouth shut, i would tell her and your father ahead of time and then suprise every one else. COngrats by the way!!

Im a Photographer...hopefully not for long! Deff look into getting something sesonal if you go a lot, cuz even if u only work like 2 days a year, u still get into the parks free and get free passes for ur fam and the discount (works on the cruises too!!) its totally worth it for a side job, i just took the photo thing cuz it was the most money when we first moved down here in july, gonna get out of it asap!

I've always felt like it would lose its 'magic' if you actually worked there....is that the case?

LOL i prolly have taken a lot of ppls pics that are on here!

The magic does fade when you work there, esp when u have a bad day, it bums u out even more cuz its so magical for everyone else. But most of the time you have great days and have fun!

Im a stinker tho cuz im always outside in the heat sweating my but off getting amazing farmers tan on my arms and legs n dealing with stupid kids on heelies (or however u spell it) and screaming childen and ppl expecting me to be babysitting their child. I cant deal with ppl who dont follow rules and teach their kids that they can do whatever they want haha so im prolly not the best disney cast member!
