I'm having a problem with my church. Can you girls please list..

$500 dontation (crazy!)
$275 music (organist and singer) (crazy)
not allowed to have anything cool! like a runner or throw rose petals! (annoying)

but i threw the rose petals anyways.

it is a really pretty church tho! with a very long aisle!

Not sure of the rules since my final meeting is next week

$700- includes organist....I am using a string quartet.

aisle runner/petals....anything goes. They have been wonderful to work with.

This is where I'm running into problems, with the string quartet. My church is making me pay the musical director regardless, fine. But he also requests a practice with the quartet for an additional fee which means I'd have to pay the quartet twice!!!

I was told the same thing at my church - I think it's standard practice.

Regardless of whether or not you use the church musician/vocalist, you have to pay them.
