I had a well known photographer that everyone raves about and I am just not happy. I felt like he was very unorganized during the whole night and missed many shots. His assistant was VERY nasty to my bridal party and he bad talked other vendors and my RH to me DURING THE WEDDING.
He was honestly annoying. Did all of you brides feel like your photographer was annoying?
during the reception every time I would look for him he was sitting down.
I know there is nothing else I can do but I am very upset. Everyone is telling me to wait for the proofs but

Im so sorry youre dealing with this. Thats terrible what you went through but Im going to have to say what youve heard already. Wait for the proofs because you cant complain until you see them.

I feel the same way about mine. He was not nasty but I feel he missed alot of pics. I forgot my must take photo list cause I was running late and he took most of the posed pics in one spot. I get so upset with myself everytime I look at all the great pics on here. I wasnt thinking clearly that day and thought the photagrapher would have taken more fun pics without me asking. I could be wrong I guess I'll see when I get my proofs as well. Try not to worry about it though There's nothing we can do now. I'm sure the pics will be beautiful.

I would say that you first need to see the proofs then make an assement of weather you should let him know your disappointment.

I am sorry he annoyed you but I do think you should wait until you see your proofs and go in with an open mind. If your pictures are gorgeous you won't really care that he was annoying.

My wedding had not yet passed but after taking our engagement pictures and seeing some of their recent weddings, we cancelled our photographer, a popular one on this site. When we cancelled he yelled at my FH on the phone and wouldnt take a no from him. I had to call and again was so nasty with me and it took 15 minutes to convince him we werent happy.
I am soo sorry you are going through this now. Hopefully your proofs are what you are hoping for and will make up for his rude behavior

Sorry I wish I could say something different than what the other girls said- but I hope your pictures will be better than you think- do you know when your proofs will be ready?

did this person annoy you before the wedding? did you take epics with him? do you like your epics? if you liked those then im sure you will like your wedding photos....
it is a pain that he bothered you at the wedding, and talking badly about other vendors is totally inappropriate! especially if they were other vendors at your wedding that you booked! that would have really pissed me off!
BUT you didnt see the proofs yet - so dont worry, you said this person is popular so im sure you liked other brides photos so dont panic yet - im sure your photos will be great....just sounds like the person was a jerk
