I'm SO sorry ure going through all this...keep in mind in older adults, anesthesia takes longer to wear off...so give it time...but here are some hugs in the mean time

I'm so sorry sweetie! Let me share that about 2 years ago, my grandmother (who was 90) at the time was rushed to the ER with ridiculously high blood pressure. The MD's pretty much said that there was no hope. Well, it's 2 years later and she's 93 1/2 and still going strong.

Miracles do happen! I will pray one will happen for your grandfather!
