it's not a stupid question: you know when you go to a shower, and at the bottom of the invitation it says 'wishing well' ? You buy a cheap little gift, like a bar of soap, or a little household item, and you wrap it, and stick it in the wishing well. It's all little stuff that you can use for the house, but you don't put your name on it, you just stick it in there.

Oooooo INTERESTING!! I've only been to one shower and there wasn't a wishing well. And we havent had mine yet. SO i just never heard of this before.
I can see that coming in handy... esp for the people who are moving out of home for the first time!! I would put a salt and pepper in there!! that's what we totally forgot to buy when we first moved out. haha.. it's the little things that you forget about until you realize... O CRAP.. i don't have such and such!

I dont have a picture but I used the hamper off the registry they made and the theme for the items inside was all a beach theme. Items they could use for their honeymoon sort of.

I didnt have one Donna. My guests brought bottles of wine instead of typical wishing well stuff.
