Anyone doing/did DIY programs and menus? I'm trying to cut costs anywhere I can and since these just get thrown out anyway, I was thinking of DIY-ing it. Please post pics if you have them

You can see pics of our programs and menus in here, along with some other DIY stuff CLICK HERE
EDIT: I made everything you see on Power Point.
Frames were all purchased at Michael's when they were having a frame sale and I used an additional 40% off coupon so I got a great deal.
Seating Chart was printed at ShortRunPosters.com for like $10.
I purchased the bulk card stock from LCIPaper.com.

that's the plan. I printed everything besides the programs and menus at work actually since they are not changing and I didn't want to waste my ink LOL.
I need to buy more ink for my home printer and then I am going to test it out (hopefully I will have no issues). If I can't than I will find some other way to print them out.

I printed the menu out on shimmer paper, then cut it to the right size. Cut out the heavier card stock for the second layer, and taped them together

Love them! Did you use a particular computer program? Just printed them out at home? Where did you buy the paper?

Re: Please post... DIY programs/menus
I got the paper from Paperandmore.com, printed it out using Microsoft Word (seriously), two to a page, then used a paper cutter from michaels to cut them.
The blue cardstock I got from Anchorpaper.com, initially to make my own pocket folds, then used the same paper to cut down to make menus. they will custom cut the size and color you want, giving you a quote before they do. I found it a lot cheaper than buying 8.5x11 sheets and cutting it myself
