Please post pics of....

We're thinking of doing bamboo floors on the 1st floor of our condo, but I still am not 100% sure. We're not crazy about the 'knots' from the middle of the stalks. We're going with the darker color rather than the natural color.

Does anyone have any experience with the bamboo floors? If not, which floor do you have & how durable is it? I don't want to be afraid to walk on it because of heel marks or scuffs. Thanks everyone!!!!

oak floors are strong
i am not too sure about bamboo--i will ask my DH about it.........just curious, why were you thinking bamboo? is it b/c of the color? b/c you can always stain the floor???

It wasn't that we necessarily were looking for bamboo when we started remodeling. We just happened to pass by a floor sample at the LI Ceiling, Panel, & Flooring store and we really liked it. It was just a combination of the look- the color, the grain..... But we're open to any floor option.

I probabbly cant help too much but I thought bamboo was very strong! Also, I was looking at a house on MLSLI and the inside was bamboo. If I can find it - Ill link you.
