I made the STD's for my sons July 4th wedding and they're being mailed this week. I can't post a pic (I created them on a PrintMaster program) of them but on the front, theres wedding bells and roses with Save The Date. On the inside it says:
It's written in the stars, that they were meant to be, so write it on your calendar there's going to be a wedding.

The marriage of Danielle and Alonzo will take place on sunday, July 4, 2004

Invitation and details to follow.

on the right side of the announcment, i made stickers out of star burst that say:

Save this date for Danielle and Alonzos Wedding.

on the back i've included the hotel information with address, phone and rates.

they really came out nice and I'm satisfied with the results.

She was originally going to do that too but she is on a tight budget so she decided against it. But my friend did something similiar with magnets and it was a big hit!

I took those photos and im very pleased with myself :D

I did a combo Merry Christmas/ STD card. Here is what I sent out. Inside the card it mentions our wedding date!

I posted this separately, but since you asked..

Our STD is a little different. FH designed them himself (he is such a talent!!) Still a work in progress...

Reason behind the concept is that I'm a diehard NY Yankee fan and FH is a diehard Mets fan -- its sort of 'how we met ..' (long story there!) Everyone said it would never last! We think our friends/family will get a kick out of it. Its a little small to read, click the link:
