Re: Please post pics of your ivory gowns
You just have to make sure your FH and groomsmen wear ivory too and no one will notice!
I tamned alot for the past couple of years, so when I first ordered my dress, I ordered white, cause I never saw the dress in white. Sure enough I found it in white, and change it about 5 months be4 my wedding.
i will tell u, with ivory, u have to be careful . . . I mean, u have to consider the groom, the groomensmen and what they'll wear, the shoes, the veil. I mean, its so much easier w. white, Some people even say if u chose an ivory dress u really should have the FG be in ivory and the RB and FG be in ivory as well. also considered ur skintone. If ur fair, I would go with white, if ur tan, i'd go with either or . . . lol because if ur really really fair, the white may not bring out ur color, whereas the ivory will.....................hope that helps

My gown is ivory and champagne. I am not sure if you can actually tell in the pics.
I will post the pic of the model and then myself. White was too stark on me. I love the ivory and champagne colors though.
I agree that it can be a little difficult because you have to make sure everything is ivory. But if thats the color that looks good on you....go for it! My flower girls and ring bearer wore ivory too. I even had to get my shoes died ivory b/c most dyeables only come in white. You just have to pay attention to details to make sure you are never standing next to something stark white!

In regards to groom and BP.. they wore white shirts. It was really not noticeable. The ivory looked dirty. They had silver vest so the ivory did not match. You cannot notice in my photos.
But I had heard it all.... they must have ivory vest/ shirts, etc... not true. There was so little showing. It was fine.
FG wore ivory. I will have to agree with that. My flowers were ivory/off white and light blue. MOH had a steel rivera sky color (blue) dress. Shoes were 'dirty' white fabric so it was perfect.

Well, I am normally very pale so I thought that a white dress would emphasize that and make me look dead but when I tried my dress on a second time, I didn't really think that the ivory dress popped or stood out at all-- does that make sense? I am going to have to get a spray on tan. My Bridesmaids are wearing brown dresses & I was thinking of having different shades of pink like baby pink & fushia flowers & maybe some ivory.
What does everyone think of a white bouquet with my ivory dress? No good? thx

Here is my ivory and champagne dress. It's hard to see the Champagne part in the picture, but the bodice and train had champagne/gold colored lace.
Just make sure that the groom and groomsmen have ivory shirts!!!

I can't really recall exactly what colors I will have in my bok. I think I am having cream roses, cream colored mini callas and i think one of the other rose colors had a tint of light peach to it. If it did not, then I want to add something with a slight tinge of peach just to break it up. The bok I will be using is in my album called 'Flowers I Like'. It has some light pink roses in there but I would like to change them to the light peach roses. Usually the florist can help you decide. I know mine will be more written in stone when I bring a sample of my dress and the girls dresses.
HTH..

It sounds like we are both thinking along the same lines Umm, if your on the pale side I would reccomend staying away from an all white bo-k. I think they look beautiful but I think you need a little contrast (tan people always look great against all white/ivory). I was thinking of a rose bo-k. Mybe cream and pink...or peach...or...this is my problem. Cant pick a color.
I really like this one....(Deedlebug126 bo-k is really pretty too
