My father and I danced to 'bridge over troubled water'. It was so touching.
When the Kelly Clarkson song came out I thought it would make an awesome wedding song. The other song is my parents wedding song from over 30 yrs ago!
ETA: At Last by Etta James (the song we used on our website)
Loving Wings by Dave Matthews Band. We're waiting for this to be released on an album so we can use it as our wedding song, the only versions we have are live versions.

I love this song- the original version by the stylistics is my parents' wedding song.
The Simply Red Version is good because Mick Hucknall sings both parts. However, I just recently saw the Stylistics in concert at Coney Island this summer, and lord have mercy, everyone was crying buckets. the original lead singer was no longer with the group, but you couldnt tell the difference with the replacement. It was a truly amazing performance of a perfect love song. To tell you the truth, I can't listen to either version without crying. FH calls me a 'big mush'.
