I had a real problem with my half up/half down hairstyle the day of my wedding. My hair is pin straight so the curls fell out while we were taking pictures. So, I would not recommend half up/half down if you have pin straight hair like me....although, you are getting married in November...so the low humidity should keep the locks in place. ;)
