That is a good question - I guess I don't want anything too mushy or 'love songish.' I am shocked by the sexual under tones of some of the father-daughter songs. I guess I am looking for songs along the line of unforgettable, what a wonderful world, somewhere over the rainbow, etc. but I feel like I want to find a less played song than those.

I felt the same, so I'm using it's a wonderful world, but it's a re-make by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, which is a band my FH and I like (we're doing father/daughter and mother/son at the smae time) so it's a traditional song, but by a VERY untraditional artist

My dad really wants Daddy's Little Girl by the Mills Brothers, but it is SO slow.... so I'm trying to think if there is a way to do a LITTLE bit of it and than have it go into a song that I like better that's a little bit faster and more upbeat... Anyone know if this is possible or if djs do this?

This seems to be my top song choice so far but I think it is so traditional - I would love to listen to a clip if Nick Cave's version. I looked on amazon and I don't see it. Do you know what CD it is on?
