Please pray for my mom!! **now with update***

My mom has been thru so many terrible surgeries from rods in her back to a knee replacement last year to a nuclear neck fusion etc...
Today she had her other knee replaced and unfortunately she is in a ton of pain even with a nerve block and morphine. She has a 103 fever that is concerning us all because she has Systemic Lupus which makes her body attack anything foreign. We are hoping her fever comes down and her pain goes away. Last year when she had her knee replaced she had no pain. It is so terrible seeing her like this! Please keep her in your prayers! TIA

**UPDATE** First i wanted to thank everyone for their prayers!! They are so greatly appreciated!!! We now know why my mom was in so much pain. The nerve block became disconnected or was never connected so when she came out of surgery at 1:30, she had no pain meds at all. They gave her morphine at around 11 last night which is a risk cause it raises the pressure in her eye and she has major eye problems too. Finally late last night someone realized that she had no pain meds in her at all without the nerve block. They connected it and she is doing much better. She still has pain but nothing like last night. Unreal!!! Thanks so much again ladies!!

She ran the risk of pain both times however last time her knee was completely shattered and she was walking around like that for months so when it was replaced, it was actually a relief. This time the nerve block did not help the pain in the back of her knee. She is so tough and shes been through so much (all of these bone issues comes because her lupus went out of control so she received low doses of chemo thus causing her osteoperosis). I feel so bad. I was there when she went into her surgery and she said...'hey it will be worth it. i will be dancing at your wedding.' then she came out in so much pain I hate seeing her like this! This comes a month and a half after my dad was in the hospital for his heart and a month after my one year old nephew was in for a rare post infectious syndrome. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!! We need good times ahead!

I hope she will be ok I'm sorry she is going through all of this

i am just so sorry your mother sounds like such a strong woman and it brought tears to my eyes that right before surgery the one thing shes thinking about is how its all worth it because she will be able to dance at your wedding. Is she on pain killers now, can the doctors do anything to help with the pain? i hope theres something that can be done and hope the pain goes away real soon. Hopefully she won't have to go through much more of this

stay strong and i know how hard it must be. Just think of how you'll feel when you'll see her dancing at your wedding
