Please read.

I'm cross posting this tragic NWR article from LIF. Everyone, please be careful with anything that you plug in to an electrical outlet. Also make sure that your fire detectors are working properly.

I did not meet this person, but she was a colleague who recently started working at my company.

I always thought that was an urban legend when I would hear stories about those air freshner night lights...Now I know it's not...definitely removing them all when I get home. So sad...she was so young.

A lot of people do. When I first posted about this on LIF, someone replied with this huge article about all the studies that showed that they do not cause fires.

Now we know that they really CAN cause a fire

OMG-what a beautiful girl...she hung on for a long time, it's so terribly sad. At least she had her family around her when she died.
