Basically, you can do whatever you want. You can include them in your original package (which of course will change when you see the pictures and design the albums) or add them after. You can pay for basic albums and parents can add to them, or don't include them now (to make cash flow easier) and either you or parents can add them later. Believe me, I've seen every combination, so whatever works for you is fine.

Beach pics are difficult. If there is not enough definition in the background, sand can blend into water can blend into sky. The photographer has to be really good to underexpose the sky to make it as dark as possible (w/a polorizing filter to accent the clouds). Also, the beaches along the Bay aren't really too interesting (no waves) unless you get one w/sandbars or land across the way. I can't think of any with reeds + dunes, which would be nice. The closest for you might be Florence Beach in Massapequa, but don't forget the people in the background. You might want to schedule a separate day for just the two of you to go over to Fire Island for the kind of pictures you might be looking for.

i'm getting married at the port jefferson country club. they have a deck on a cliff overlooking the sound.. if the weather is nice that is where the ceremony will be held.. if not, they move it into the ball room-- i'm hoping the weather is nice because the view is incredible! good luck with your search,leighann
