Please read my invitation wording

Please read my invitation wording

How does this sound?

The honour of your presence is requested
at the marriage of

Jennifer L*******
and
Christopher V********

Saturday, The Sixth Of October
Two Thousand and Seven
At Half Past 2 O'clock

St. Joan of Arc Church
Jackson Heights, NY

Question: where do you put the exact address for the church? On all the samples I only see the city and state posted. Do I need another insert aside from the reception one????

Thanks

I put the church's address on my actual invite. And the reception card has the reception location address on it.
I've seen it many ways ... I think it's up to you, to me this made more sense. HTH

Sounds good, but here are the changes I recommend:

The honour of your presence
is requested at the marriage of

Jennifer L*******
and
Christopher V********

Saturday, the sixth of October
Two thousand seven
at half past two o'clock in the afternoon

St. Joan of Arc Church
1234 Main Street
Jackson Heights, New York

Notes: only capitalize the first letter of the first word in a sentence/phrase. Personal preference, but I'd leave out the 'and' in the year. I'd add 'in the afternoon' after two o'clock. More subtle changes also (see above).

HTH!

i agree with the change in the year and the caps thing. also maybe instead of the whole church address you can do a diy direction card for the church.

You're using the British spelling of honour. I think I would use 'honor.'
