I booked Patken a few months ago but haven't selected my photographer yet. I just found out that Vinny and Steve are already booked for my day which are the two that I've heard the most about so now I'm nervous! Please recommend some others. TIA

When I checked them out, they told me that depsite my requesting Steve, I would not be able to have him unless they felt that Steve's style of photography was conducive to the engagement shots that I liked. Shouldn't they be telling you who would be good for you?
Yes, after my engagement shoot they will recommend someone for us. But I'd feel better about the recommendation if I've heard good things about them.
We actaully did not use Patken because of all their rules on who you can select. We felt as though they were basically telling us we will get who ever is avialable. We ended up going with Artisan-much easier to work with and actually listen to what you want.

We actually went their wanting to request Vinny (he did my friends wedding and we loved her pics) and were told that they WOULD NOT guarantee us we would have a certain photographer until our E-pics were taken. We told them we loved his work and they said they do not do it that way-they select who will be your photographer. At that point we basically said thank you and left. I wish I had your sales person!!!!

Vinny took our e-pics, but wasn't available for our date. Based on the fact that we liked him and the specific photos from our shoot we liked the best, they recommended her.
We met with her... and loved her photos and personality. She was awesome the day of our wedding and we are in LOVE with our photos!!!
Patken called me after our engagement photos and told us we had John.. I've never heard his name before..and I posted on here asking if anyone else had...and no one replied that they knew him! We have to set up a meeting with him soon so if you get him I will let you know how things go!
We used Nick and had a wonderful experience with him. My proofs are in my community album. Great guy to work with. I loved all my proofs! He captured every moment of the day. All the Patken photographers are great no matter who you get.
I also booked Patken Evan is our photgrapher. At first I was worries about my photpgrapher because no one on here had used him. But after I met him and saw his work I was very happy. HTH
