Re: Please recommend Hawaii hotels
In Oahu I would recommend the Outrigger Waikiki or the Sheraton Moana Surfrider. They're both beautiful hotels right on the beach!!
We stayed at the Sheraton Princess Kaulaini and I would recommend it but it's not ocean front.

Re: Please recommend Hawaii hotels
Maui - we stayed at the Wailea Marriott in Maui. It was fantastic! They upgraded us to an ocean front suite!
Kauai - we stayed in a condo which was AWESOME because we got to be alone. http://www.vrbo.com/vacation-rentals/usa/hawaii
Big Island - we stayed in Kona at the Sheraton. I didn't like it all. Also, I think the Hilo side of the island is better.
Oahu - we stayed at the Hawaii Prince hotel. It was nice enough, but they typically sell a lot of rooms from this hotel on Priceline for about 119 a night. Don't overpay.
Also, Trip Advisor has GREAT reviews of different hotels. They are written by everyday people who have actually stayed there, not by travel services who are paid by the hotels. I always check out a hotel on Trip Advisor before I stay there.
HTH and FM me if you want more info.

Re: Please recommend Hawaii hotels
In Oahu, we're staying at the Sheraton Moana Surfrider and the Royal Hawaiian (we're staying one night on each end).
In Maui, we're staying at the Westin. I've heard good things about it as well as the Hyatt. I've also heard good things about the Grand Wailea.
In Kauai, we're staying at a timeshare but, I really wanted to stay at the Hyatt or Princeville. They are both gorgeous hotels but, are on different sides of the island. The Princeville is on the 'rainy' side. The amount of rain on that side varies based on time of year so we figured we'd play it safe in Poipu (since December is part of the rainy season). Basically, everyone told me, when I was going to Hawaii, you have to stay at the Hyatt in Kauai (except hte people who stayed at the Princeville, they told me I had to stay there!)
If you are going to the Big Island, the Four Seasons is the place to be.

Re: Please recommend Hawaii hotels
I stayed at the Four Seasons in Maui and it was the most amazing hotel I've ever been to. They upgraded us to an executive suite automatically. The service and accommodations are fantastic.
FM me if you have any particular questions.
ETA: Here's a link to the pics of my honeymoon album -- the last part is the Four Seasons.
The Sheraton in Maui was amazing, my favorite hotel by far. The Marriot in Kaui was also beautiful!!

We are staying at the Grand Hyatt Kauai, Turtle Bay and Halekulani on Oahu, and Ho'oilo House on Maui. Ho'oilo is the most gorgeous bed and breakfast I've ever seen and we've stayed in many. It's a nice change from the big hotels. Much more romantic and intimate.
I second the website TripAdvisor.com. Read the reviews. Good luck planning!
Ive been to Oahu 3x and stayed at the Hilton Hawaiin Village. Nothing else compares to it i swear! Ive seen the Outtrigger and do not reccommend it i know alot of ladies here stayed there i just didnt like it.
You need to see it to believe it, its stunning...You have your own litlle village within your hotel like stores, boutiques such as louie vuitton, coach etc...youre right on the beach, nightly entertainment, music, bands, shows, 3 blocks away from the shopping district....Oh and stay in their newest building Kahlia tower =)

I went to Oahu, (Wakiki), Maui and Kaui. We stayed at the Halukelani on Wakiki beach, AMAZING!!! In Kaui and Maui we stayed at the Hyatts, which where both fantastic!! We did visit the Grand Waliea in Maui and it is just breathtaking. I thought the Hyatts where amazing and I was blown away. Its a bit expensive though.

We also stayed at the Wailea Marriott and LOVED IT! We were upgraded to ocean front as well and the hotel is in a perfect location. I don't have one bad thing to say about this hotel.

Yes the Hawaiin Village is really nice. There's tons of stores throughout the first floor of the hotel. We didn't stay there, but were impressed by it all. Oh and i have to agree... i wouldn't like the Outrigger. I wasn't impressed by that at all.
