Please Recommend Towns- Repost 09

I'm looking for 'affordable' towns in Suffolk county, preferably North Shore or north central, that are in good school districts and have moderate property taxes.

Preferably for home purchase, possibly rental homes. Very eastern Nassau if something falls within the criteria. I have these issues with 'buffer zones' and 'last bastions' which I'm totally not going to touch lol.

If they do please let me know!! I just look at the house prices in NYC ,LI, and all of the tristate area (besides PA)it makes me think that it will never be affordable!!
my friend moved to Lexington Ken, brand new 5 bedrooms development for 100K.they are both lawyers they can live like millonaires down there meanwhile here they could have like a ok life(money wise)
Granted who wants to live in KY but sometimes I feel why is NY so great anyways!
