Please recommend your Digital Camera

FH & I decided we want to buy a new digitial camera before the wedding (to use on HM) Right now we have a Sony touchscreen but it is 5 years old.

So ladies, tell me which do you have and love.

that sounds like the one I just got for Christmas this past year it was the newest Pink Sony Cybershot I love it!!

FH and I have to get a new camera and camcorder as well, I'm still trying to figure this out myself lol. I've been using the comparison option on the best buy website.

DH just bought me a Canon PowerShot SD960 IS... it came in pink and I love it (it comes in a few different colors) but the quality of the shots is amazing for a non-SLR

ETA: it also takes video and the quality is decent

Both FH and I have Canons. They are great IMO the pictures come out beautiful. I also just bought FH the Powershot D10 (I think?) it's the underwater, shockproof, freezeproof, waterproof one, as a wedding gift.

I bought the Samsung SL620 digital camera and don't like it at all....the shutter speed is so slow it makes me crazy....it's like 6 seconds between pictures....same when viewing them...so annoying.

This is the same camera I have. I bought it last year in light blue - 12.1 megapixels..I love it and the quality of pics is fantastic. My only complaint is that I used it to take pics at a concert a few weeks ago and I couldn't get good shots because my seats were so far up - and when I zoomed in at the max level, the quality of the pics got grainier and grainer.. Other than that I highly recommend it - I just won't use this for trying to take pics from REALLY far away..

i have the Olympus stylus tough ... i am sure there is better out there but i like that i can go under water with it

Nikon D60! I am not good at taking photos at all, but this camera makes them so much better. Plus there is no shutter delay, which is good for when you have kids

I have the Panasonic Lumix (actually, I have 2) and I love them. They are easy to use and produced great images.

i am a huge fan of the cannon powershot. I think the quality is better then others. I have gone on vacations with friends that had nikons and kodak cameras and we all got pictures printed (from the same site) and they all agreed that the ones from my camera printed the best

I also have a Panasonic Lumix. I have it in orange and its the best because it is waterproof. We took in the pool with us and got some cool underwater pics. It's also shockproof & dustproof.

I have the red one, but not the newest one. I have a 10 megapixel about 3 years old, then FSIL has the 12.something megapixel and they both take SICK photos and now the newest one is 14.something so it's gotta be REDIC!!! Get the Sony Cybershot Vanessa!! FH did a lot of consumer resrach befoe he bought mine and it paid off.
