Please recommend your videographer and DJ..... TIA!

'08 Bride crashing here for vendor advice.....

Video: We've looked at a few videographers who we really like, and want to see one or two more before we make our final decision. We're looking for interesting intros, some titling, limited special effects, some B&W with a photojournalistic style. For those who've already received their final edited videos/raw footage and are extremely happy with them, please recommend your videographer.

DJ: We're also looking for a DJ.... we've seen 1 and loved them, but just want a few more for comparison so we know we're making an informed decision. We just need a DJ and possibly an MC who will adhere to our Play/Do Not Play list. I must admit I'm very picky with music!! No giveaways, montages, or light shows needed. If you had a great DJ who played what you wanted to hear and had your guests dancing the whole time, please recommend them too!

Thank you!!

we used wild rose for our video...havent gotten it back yet but their work is AMAZINGGGG. the videographers were so nice on the day of too & never got in the way. if you go to their website you can go to the 'screening room' & check out some of their work...they are GREAT

www.wildrosevideo.com

as for DJ..we used stan weist (a vendor on here) only bc my sis used him for her wedding & he was great. we didnt have an MC though...just a DJ. what si great abotu stan weist is no cheesiness. no giveaways, etc. he actually has in his contract that he refuses to play the chicken dance, hokey pokey, etc. (Stan Weist is the company but he has a bunch of people who work for him...so Stan Weist himself wont be your dj). they were on time, professional & did everything i asked for. reasonably priced too, but then again, i didnt get any extras liek lighting or plasma screens. (he doesnt do that either though...)

HTH!!!
Good Luck!!!

I used Wild Rose Video and VJ Entertainment was our DJ. Both are LIW vendors and I highly recommend both. They were excellent, professional and a pleasure to work with.

Stevie Z by Lucky Star Productions of New Hyde Park, Stevie Z is just so talented & creative, classy, funny and knows his stuff...He is the owner, MC and has a very experienced crew who did the lighting and DJ work. They also did our two plasma's, Zap shots & our video, you will not be disappointed with him. He does a lot of famous shows in nyc and all over.

Top Hat Entertainment did an Awesome job at both DJ/Video.
We had our Video back 3 Weeks after our Wedding, our video was even more Amazing then we could have ever imagined. The DJ had all of our guests on the dance floor the whole night. I Very Highly Recommend Top Hat.

We used Pat from Golden Moments for videography. We haven't received our video yet, but I am sure it will be great, judging from their other work. He was a pleasure to work with!

We used Spin Around Sound for our DJ. I cannot say enough good things about them. Tom is such a nice guy and 100% stuck to our play and do not play list. All our guests continue to rave about the music.
