PLEASE SEND HUGS AND PRAYERS TO MY LITTLE KITTYUPDATE!!!

i dropped off my baby boy to the vet's office this morning. he's going thru vaccinations, neutering, and front de-clawing. i nearly burst into tears when i left the office cause he rubbed his furry little face against my chin when i was saying good bye. he'll be there for 2 days....and i'm gonna be a mess until i have him home again.

to top it off, the vet just called me to say that his feline leukemia test came back 'ever so slightly positive' but he assured me that it could test negative in a month and he will probalby be fine. i don't understand how you just 'slightly' test postive for leukemia and then go negative.

i sooo don't need this right now.

UPDATE: thanks for the prayers ladies...i just called the vet...and my little bubba is in recovery and waking up. he made it thru surgery a-ok! i can't take him home until friday cause they want to keep him there to make sure he doesn't walk around on his paws and get infected.

now i just have to worry about that dang feline leukemia test and hope it's neg. next month!

Your kitty will be ok!!!!!!! Sometimes I think these things are harder on us than on our pets!

I know just how you feel, we just had our 2 kitties de-clawed. Don't worry he's going to be just fine.....It's harder on us then it is them sometimes. Everything is going to be ok.

awwww!!! I'd be a wreck too..I'm not sure I'd ever be able to declaw my kitty. I hope everything goes okay.

awhhh FH and I love kitties!! Your poor little baby! I know what it's like, went through something similar with my old kitty. I felt so bad getting him neutered... like I was taking away his manhood! Your baby will be ok!
