Please send hugs(kinda long)

Hey girls. I hope you all had a great time at the GTG. Ok, one of my BM's just broke up with her fiance. They had been rocky for a few weeks, but last night he sealed the deal. I cannot imagine what she is going through and I know she could use some hugs, as she is a member of LIW.

Now, her ex fiance, FH, and I are really close. He was supposed to be our best man. He is coming to LI soon to step down. He is the only guy FH is really close with. FH wants to ask his cousin (my BM) to be his best woman. I am fine with that, but what would she wear? My BMs are already wearing black and white. I am so sick over this whole situation because I just can't believe they broke up I will be at work all day, but I know when I get home you girls will have the answers!

Break ups are never easy and this situation I'm sure doesn't make it easier! I just wanted to say that I'm sorry you have to go through this. You will get through it and have a beautiful and fun wedding!

I would see what other colors your BM dresses come in. Maybe you can do the same dress in a different color. I was also thinking champange because it's neutral, she won't completely stand out but is very elegant at the same time. I'll come up with more ideas and search for pics to help you out. I have an appt. to go to.

I agree. It's just really sad, because she is in another state and I can't imagine how she feels right now. Also, I should clear up that I am sick over what happened between them, not the best man situation. ( I realized how that sounded in my post!) It's just a sad situation, he was like my best guy friend and now he won't even answer FH's or my calls. What a mess, I just wish she would come home.

she can still wear her dress!! i don't see why not! Why is he stepping down he is there for you guys not for his ex. I really don't have much input on this but i dont think it would be a bad idea for her to be his BW

He's stepping down because she is FH's cousin, so it wil be all her family at the wedding and I think he thinks it would be awkward..

OH MAN! That's realy terrible....I can't even imagine...I'm really sorry for whoever your friends are and for you guys as well. As far as your Best woman....I agree that maybe champagne is a good color for her to wear or even maybe black and white to match the guys tuxedos....it depends on wha tthe rest of your BP is wearing...have u picked ur colors yet?

As far as what would Best woman wear??? Put her in the same BM dress!!! maybe give her different flowers to carry... My FH is having three girls stand for him and they are wearing the bm dresses i picked! They all offered to wear tuxes though isn't that sweet??

wow! that is such a tough situation! it is really hard when close friends who are dating break up....not to mention the fact that they were engaged! i am so sorry for your friend i really cannot even imagine what it is like for her right now....it is good that she has someone like you as a friend to help cheer her up! she is really going to need u right now.

i agree....maybe a different dress in the same colors. do you have pics of your BM dresses?? if you do, post them and maybe girls on here will be able to find some ideas. dont worry! it will work out! you still have a while till the wedding, things will fall into place by then. hugs for your friend!!!
