Please share the cost of your Videograpgher?

I'm looking for the price, what it included and the vendor name - also - is it necessary to meet them in person too?
thanks so much!!!

Video By Susan. No one on here has used her so I can't really vouch. I went out on my own because of the price figuring 'how bad can it be' considering I wasn't going to get video at all. Here's the package:

800 package (Basic - No Picture montage)
10% off for mentioning LIBride

THis is the one we're going with:

$1000 package (with pictures)
-10% LIBride
____________
$900 + (2) DVDs ($65.00) = $965.00

$289 deposit
$289 due 1 month before wedding
$387 when video is done

Includes the ceremony, limited video at CH, full reception coverage including table interviews.

Includes 'growing up pictures' and honeymoon pictures...takes 8 weeks or less from the time you give her the pictures.

Like i said in my post I wasn't that thrilled with her personally...thought she was a little flaky/scattered but FH knows about video and said some people are better behind the camera then in front of it. She showed me samples of her video and I couldn't find anything wrong with it (trust me I was looking!). I figured it was worth saving $500 going with her. PATKEN's video was $1445.

Hope this helps! Her number is: 631-648-3712

Hi,

I love my videographer - Wild Rose - they have a website. Awesome work and highly recommended to me.

They have different packages that I believe start around $1800 or so and go up. They've got some fancier packages that go up over $4k - all depending on what you want.

I don't remember who it was but they booked with Timeless treasure for $1250, that's who we were going to look at but the other bride said the price would be going up to $1450 once they move in 2 weeks. I don't remember what was in the package either sorry.

That was me! Everything is included in the $1,250 price:
Bride house coverage
picture montage
4 songs (my choice)
photo shoot coverage
full ceremony and reception
3 chaptered DVDs
raw footage

I have an appointment in 2 weeks to book with him. $400 deposit, $400 a month before the wedding, the balance when dvds are picked up.

I used LCA studio's Frank was just amazing. I loved my wedding video. His prices start at $995.00. He also has a website where you can view some of his work, I believe in the sneak previews section. I highly recommend Frank.

There are TONS of Duet brides on here. I'm doing photo/video with them and they negotiated a good deal with me for about $4,000 taxes included.

I am actually not paying anything! My FI's friend is a camera man and he is going to videotape the ceremony, 1st dance, and cake cutting. he will also do some baby pictures, etx. We weren't going to have a video but are glad that his friend is going to do it!

I've been to north Shore, Artisan, and Proline

and for the best package
-bride's home, full ceremony, reception all the way to the end
-Fully edited with
Photo Montage
Recap/highlights
Honeymoon photos at the end
You choose the songs
3 chaptered DVDs

It was about $1700-$1800

ETA: You also get raw footage with Artisan a nd North Shore and with Artisan you get the raw footage right away and you get a lot of say in what goes into the final edit

ETA: I DO think it's necessary that you meet them in person. Een if you see some clips online, in person you can see the videos and really get a feel for the person's attitude. I really liked one of the vendors I loisted at a bridal show and on the phone, but in person he was pushy and unaccomodating, Another vendor had pretty good work, but you didn't know which of their 12 videographers you are getting. With my favorite of teh 3 I've seen, Artisan, I can see the work of the EXACT guy who is going to shoo my video, and everyone had a GREAT personality, and that's important!

Also, if you're going to see Artisan and North Shore, they're literally 2 minutes from each other. I know it's SO annoying to go from vendor to vendor, but it's so much better if you can squeeze in a few in one day!

I am using John Morelli The videos come out more like movies than the typical wedding video. With a couple options I added, it comes to $3005. 12 hours.
