I'm looking into the different bridal shops around LI (mainly Suffolk/Eastern Nassau).
Can everyone share their experiences with the places they've been? How was customer service/dress selection/etc? Which places had the best price/which seemed overpriced?
I am going to start looking in December with my mom and MOH (and when SIL is up from Florida I'm going to take all my bridesmaids with me to hopefully say yes to the dress!)

I am dealing with Burton's Bridal and they have been nothing short of fabulous. The Bridal Shop in Centereach was very nice too.

I agree with both posts above!
my friend got her dress, bm dresses and MOB and MOG dresses - theyre great when your shopping, but everything after that was a complete disaster. I cried in the place and i was only MOH
I ordered my dress from Burton!

If you are thinking of doing David's Bridal for anything, do NOT go to the Westbury one.. They are rude and I have had nothing but problems with them. go to massapequa, they are MUCH nicer!!!

Agreed! I got a BM dress from there 2 years ago and it was the worst experience ever. I almost had to go looking for another dress 2 days before.

I found my dress my Angel Bridal in Islip. It is a very small shop, but they have a great selection and awesome staff.
I didn’t really enjoy my experience at David’s Bridal in Massapequa. It was impersonal and they didn’t have half of the dresses I was interested in. I'm sure it all depends on the consultant you get.
My cousin got all of her dresses from Burtons (hers and bridesmaids) and she was very happy with them!

I found mine at the Bridal Salon at Macy's in Manhasset and they've been nothing but great.

Angel bridal is great! I got my dress there too. They are small but very helpful and good prices.

Totally agree, I got my dress there,however not using them for alterations.

My dress is from Bridal Suite in Bay Shore. I went twice for my dress and once for BM and to try my dress on. Overall I had a great experience. Maria was patient with us even though my sister was making a big scene about the BM dresses.
I had a negative experience at Fantasia. It was a Saturday and they were pretty hectic, so I suggest going on a weekday if possible. My cousin went there a few weeks ago for her dress with no issues!

My dress is from bridal suite of bayshore as well. Had a great experience so far and both of my sisters and my cousin used them for their weddings and all had great experiences!

THIS!!! They're only good for the initial visit but once you buy your dress that's the end of that.

Got my BM and MOB dresses in Massapequa and had awesome experiences every time. I also got my MOH dress for my sisters wedding here. They did my moms alterations and came out great, just not sure of pricing since there is no cap (mom did this on her own)

I didn't get my dress here so I don't have a personal experience but my cousin's fiancee got her dress from Village Bridals and had nothing but good things to say about it.

But otherwise, Village Bridal in Babylon and Bridal Suite of Bay Shore were by far the best stores I went to. And Paradise Bridal in Patchogue was the absolute worst!
