Please show me how you make a wedding day timeline.....

My ceremony is at 4 - the limo is picking up my dad and I at 3:45 (church is 5 mins away). I am getting my hair and make up done as is others in my bridal party. What time should they come?? What time does the photographer and videographer come?? How do I start this?

Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Here's a tentative:

-When are you waking up? How long does it take you to eat breakfast and get ready? What about FH?

-Call your hair and makeup people and ask how long it will take them for the amount of girls you have, and pad that by an hour. Then let your BM's and GM's know when they need to be at your place. Pad that by 1/2 an hour.

-Check your contract to see when your photo and video people are showing up. Are you taking pics before the ceremony? Take into acount travel time and pic taking time.

-When is your florist arriving? Pencil that in too.

9:00 am

10:00 am

11:00 am

12:00 pm

1:00 pm

2:00 pm

3:00 pm

4:00 pm CEREMONY

Hmmm okay more info:

FH will be getting ready at his best mans apt.

I wont be eating as soon as I get up. I will probably eat right before the makeup person

I havent decided what time any vendor is coming yet - they are all waiting for me to decide!

I found that going backwards, like start with the ceremony time, was the easiest way to make the schedule. You will be best to take some pictures at your house of you and your BM. Leave an hour and a half for this, and don't forget to account for a half an hour for them to set up- so 2 hours total. Schedule your florist drop off for a half hour before the photographers come. Next would be the makeup and how long that will take depends on how many girls are getting it done. Give yourself a half hour in between makeup and hair to eat a little something a relax. Ask your hairdresses how long it should take and pad that by an hour. Wake up a half hour before your hair person is coming.

We're just starting to deal with this now. So far, I have:

Hair: 10AM (9 girls, 2 hairdressers)
Makeup: 12PM (6 girls, 1 makeup lady)
Photographer: 1:30PM
Bus: picking up at 3:00
Pictures: 3:30 - 5:00PM
Get to Milleridge 5:30
Guests arrive at 6PM
Ceremony starts at 6:30

Haven't thought about when the flowers should get there but I guess around the time that the photographer does.

I found it easier to go into my outlook calendar for the day and assign appts, to try to keep everyone on schedule and not have people standing around, for both hair and makeup. For example
Hair appt 1 - 8-8:35
Hair appt 2 8:40 - 9:15
My hair 9:15 - 10:15
Hair appt 4 10:15 - 10:50

Even though we will be at a hotel, I will give each BM a hair appt time, and we will try to use that as a timeline in the morning.
The same with makeup. I hope it helps reduce the madness....

5:30am - 6:15am Makeup
6:30am - 6:45am Breakfast
7:00am - 7:15am Flowers Arrive
7:30am - 7:45am BP arrives for Pics
8:00am - 8:45am Photo/Videographer arrives for pics
8:30am Limos arrive
8:45am - 9:00am Limo pics & Depart for Old Westbury
9:20am - 10:45am Pics at Old Westbury
10:45am - 11:00am Depart Old Westbury for Ariana
