please suggest a makeup person!!

I agree with Kara--at this point you should get trials at a salon or just pay for the expensive artist. Many people will be booked--our day is only 6 weeks away!!! In the end, the difference you pay for a more expensive artist won't matter, but your happiness and peace of mind will.

I heard that Marie Katz is also very expensive-- along the lines of Anne DeMarco and Jill Harth.

I know that the girl I recommended (aside from Jackie) is reasonably priced.

oh yeah, well originally i was down for dropping $$ for makeup. I was actually going to book Jill Harth , but i never went for a trial b/c i came to my senses. i had tried Ann Demarco too but she charges more for only doing one person, so i decided to not look into super highend artists- just ones that are well recccommended...
i cant afford $300 and up for makeup- esp. after spending $630 on a thomas knoell headpiece!

Oh ok thats why i was confused bc Maureen pedala is $350 for make up and $200 traveling fee so i was like WOW how expensive are the others lol.

i agree!! it gets so crazy! i have honestly upgraded everything i said i would skimp on! so annoying!

I had a trial with Claudia from makeup by Claudia (a vendow on here) and she was EXCELLENT. Reasonable prices too ! ! I am using Christina from Bare Minerals in the mall. She is great too.

ETA: Both of them do free trials ! ! Claudia is at the Bobbi Brown counter in Bloomingdales in Walt Whitman Mall, and Christina is at Bare Minerals in Rooselvelt Field.

Try Karen A. her work is amazing as well..she does airbrush and regular m/u

I went with her, she's dealt with all skin colors and i really wanted someone familar with 'latina' skin tones..HTH!
