Please suggest a nice place to hold a bridal shower....

that is not too pricy. I am in a friends bridal party and we are trying to find places to hold her shower thats not too expensive bc the bridal party is paying for the whole shower. Her mother is not really chipping in so we have to take it upon ourselves to pay. We want to give her a nice bridal shower but we are all on a budget. I also think she is inviting about 70 pp!!

Great suggestions!

Would you gals consider a hall? I would recommend Knights of Columbus. Nice thing is you can just pay for the space and then bring in any outside food vendor.

Otherwise I 2nd 7th Street Cafe

Im not sure where you are located...but my mom and sister chose the Riverview in Oakdale on the water for mine.....People are still talking about it...and my dh cousin is now having her grad party there cuz they loved it so much!!! Awesome brunch on Sundays...25 bucks a person I think. The best part is...that you dont have to gaurantee a certain number of people....if they dont come you dont pay. Not every resturaunt does that.

Mine was at Lombardi's On The Sound in Port Jeff. My mom paid for it, but I think she said it was in the twenties per head. They have a smaller room upstairs from their reception hall that they use for showers. It's got a deck and gorgeous views of the sound, and the food is excellent.

Mine was at Sidekicks in Massapequa Park- it was a lunch buffet (salad and bread plus 6 hot dishes)- private space, under $20 a head (plus tax and tip) They added 2 champagne punch bowls

I had a bridal shower at Villa Russo's in Richmond Hill Queens. Villa Russo is run by Mr. Russo's (Russo's on the Bay) brother. It was very reasonable and they did a great job with the food, cake, decor and service. If you want more info FM me.
