hi! I went to a dressmaker in Garden City right on Franklin Avenue for my suit, a gown, and my bridesmaid dress for the wedding i was in this past weekend. They did an excellent job. It was a little pricey--about $70 for those (i didnt have much done). But she did really well and was very helpful. Good luck!

Gloria Alterations on Hillside Avenue in Williston Park, NY is good.

Although I love Phyllis at Bridal Elegance on East Jericho Tpke. in Dix Hills, NY

I am using this woman Marcella- she owns a florist shop in Amityville (ironically enough) she is awesome. The nicest person you'll ever meet and when you describe how you want the dress to look she knows exactly what you mean.
