This is the dress my mom got for the wedding. She originally had another dress but my sister saw it and said it is not dressy enough for a LI wedding. My mom has never been to a LI wedding and most weddings she and my dad go to are not too dressy. So She got this dress and tried it on for me and it looks awesome on her!! But she thinks it is too much for a MOB dress. Thoughts?
I think it's really unique and pretty--if it looks good on her, go for it!

that is a really nice dress. and if she likes it and it looks good on her then why cant she wear it? It wont be too flashy or too much for her to wear...I've seen some people who's dress has more embellishments on it then the brides dress has!!

it really looks great on her! And my mom was having a hard time finding something. People in the stores kept making her try on things with jackets and like long skirts and it just looked awkward on her and she doesn't want to wear a jacket to my wedding. But she doesn't want to look too informal either. But she also said she doesn't want to be over dressed. Haha she is indecisive.

I think it's gorgeous and shes the MOB- so she should look gorgeous. I don't think it's too fancy. As long as you are both happy with it- who cares what other people think.
