My family enjoys them.. and likes the dances so we'll be doing both.. however, i plan on only getting some things, such as leis/beads and maracas and maybe glasses.. i'm steering away from the inflatable stuff

im mixed on these..i do think that its kinda tacky..i mean its not a bar mitzvah..but also if you do this and people really have a good time..yu can do a cheaper favor since they will go home with stuff from the DJ..just a thought

personally, I'm having alot of kids at my wedding so I don't find give-aways particularly tacky.
I think it really depends on you and the kind of atmosphere you are going for and the people you invite.

I'm def doing the italian 5 candied almonds favor & a donation so I won't be spending that much. The givaways are really cheap. The thing is I'm having a day wedding & the RH is pretty elegant so that's why I'm thinking not to have them. BUT, every wedding that I have gone to that had them made the guests more festive. At least that's what I think.

answered!! FH and I think its tacky and better used at a sweet 16, but depends on the crowd...if your fam and friends are into it, then i think they are a must!!!
