Please tell me I have no reason to be worried....Okay I'm a LOON!

I'm so freaked out right now.

FH and I went to the Yankee game together. We left separately- I left in my car to drive to L.I. and he headed to the subway to make the bus back to NJ at Port Authority. His goal was to get on the 11:30 bus- totally feasible.

I'm home, it's midnight. I've called him at least 3 times. He's not picking up. I'm really freaking out here.....he should at least be at Port Authority by now, even if he missed the bus. I am so scared.

How can I be in Massapequa, and he not even be at Port Authority? We both left at the same time and it took me ages to get out of the parking garage!!!

UPDATE - I called again and he picked up! WHEW!!! He said 'Didn't you get my text message?' Um, no! he made the bus by seconds!!!! OMG, he's already home. Thank God I was so freaked!!!!

I'm sure he's fine...maybe he turned his phone off and forgot? Dropped it somewhere?

Don't freak out yet! Keep us updated....

Tara, calm down. There's any number of reasons why he's not picking up the phone - he may not have service where he's waiting or on the bus etc. Maybe he had turned down his ringer and forgot to put it back up. Battery could have died. I'm SURE he's fine. I totally understand how you feel though; I'm such a worrier too! It's always for nothing though because everything turns out well. I hope he calls you soon so you can feel better!!!!

give us an update...maybe he's fine and his phone was on silent or vibrate....

His ringer definitely wasn't off....I called him before the bus was supposed to leave and he gets service there.....

what if he lost his phone somehow and doesn't realize how friggin' worried I am? We're stupid enough not to have a landline in our apartment!!! I'm so close to just leaving my mom's and driving back to NJ!!!!

I could see him not even thinking he'd have to call me....

it rings for a while and then goes to voicemail so that probably means the battery hasn't died yet.....

He may have dropped it or lost it or something. Don't drive out to Jersey - what if there's a super delay at Port Authority and he's not home yet?

Does he usually call you when he gets home if you've gone out to the island?

Yes he always calls me or text messages me when he gets on the bus and gets home....so that explains it. Stupid text message never went through. What I don't get is that he never heard the phone.

He said the subway was awful, completely packed and barely made the bus.

i just read this post and im so happy everything is okay! I also tend to worry sometimes and then realize i jsut overreacted
