We have 2 children ages almost 8 and almost 3 we also have a house and all our dishes,blender,toaster etc.(you get the drift) so now my moh is throwing me a shower and wants me to register for things and we have them. Do you think it would be tacky to put a digital camera on my Target registry?? I mean we need one and no one HAS to buy it but....people could chip in ya know I was also gonna put sheets and a shower curtain and stuff for my bathroom on there What do you guys think????

I had a similar problem. We aleady live together and had most of our home stuff. WE registered and got almost everything for our e-party so we are registering for the Honeymoon for the shower! That way we can go to hawaii with out paying for the whole thing! But as for your question I think it is a great idea to register for what YOU need or want! My FM put a shower radio on our registry!

i threw my moh a baby shower in february and since she had 3 kids already she didnt need a lot of things so i told everyone giftcard to babiesrus so she could get this really $$$$$ double stroller she got a lot of $$$ plus gifts also which was really nice

We have a targety registry, we registered for a digital camera ( ours sucks) AND an I-Pod...if someone buys it great, if not oh well...You should put a big enough registry that lots of people will have lots of choices OR they will buy something else, from my experience....Some people would actually rather buy you a Camera then say sheet sets ( which may cost the same) Go for it! No-one will care!

I don't think so- does target offer you a discount on any unpurchased items on your registry after the wedding? This is another great incentive to put those things on there

Target doesnt...we thought of that which is why we put ours on there, then realized tehy didnt do that, but left it on anyway, someone just may buy it....

I don't think it's tacky at all. I'm sure everyone knows that you already have your own house and don't need any of the more common registry items.

we are going through the same thing! my FH live together in a house (no kids though) we have SOOO much, so i registered for stuff that i wanted! luggage, pillows, etc. !!! it was fun!!

we are going to register for a digital...some of my older relatives have said they think it's tacky (i asked) but that's the oldschool opinion on things. THese days having a digital cam is a must as far as I am concerned!
