Have any other BTDT mom's lost handfulls of hair? I know SOME hair loss is normal, but I feel like I'm on the fast track to Rogaine.
Please tell me that this too will pass...

You're not going bald.
Actually you are right on target for your post partum hair loss, it occurs about 3 mths after giving birth. I remember being shocked by the amount of hair I was finding in the in the drain and all over all my clothes. In fact Lukie lost his newborn hair around the same time but he went bald and I didn't. It definitely stopped and I never noticed any thinning. I can't recall when it ended but all went back to normal.
And yes this too shall pass.

My hairdresser told me to keep taking the prenatals to avoid hairloss and so far it is working

OMG!! I lost sooo much hair for months after Ryan was born -- this house was just covered in hair, I was covered in it and I could pull handfuls out - so did Ryan! I thought for sure I would go bald. But it eventually slowed down and then returned to normal. Don't worry - it's annoying but it will end!!

I actually don't think it stops....at least I don't feel like it did for me. I have been losing handfuls, clumps, etc. for almost two years now! That's one of the reasons I finally decided to chop my hair shorter....I was so sick and tired of cleaning up the hair!
So, not to be a pessimist...but, my hair loss didn't seem to stop....at least not in my case.

I was so happy that being pregnant helped me to stop losing my hair! I guess I'll keep taking tose prenatal vitamins as long as I can!! Jenn, I'm sure your not calling the hairloss club just yet!

I just called in a refill on my prescription... I am so sick of cleaning up my hair that I'll do whatever it takes to make it stay put!!!
