Yes it's happened to many brides. It's a good thing they had you come in early to try it on.

For my sisters wedding her dress came in with a rip (lace dress) they sent away for a new one and everything worked out! Don't worry.

yeah.. its amazing how the second time around they can have the dress in a few weeks but the first time takes months!

I'm going through this as we speak. I wont know til tomrorrow how much longer the dress needs to be made, but hopefully it will be a quick fix.

Don't worry! It happens. It usually only take a few weeks to get a gown (unless it's customized or a particular designer).
The store will tell you it takes months. They just don't order it right away so they don't have to store it.
