We will be doing the kitchen soon. Please tell what your glad you had put in & what you wish you did and maybe what might have just been a waste of money. Example: pull out draws, lazy susans, things like that.
I'm trying to decided if the add ons are worth it or do I just need it cause it looks so nice on display

i love those corner cabinets that spin (they are usually on the bottom, under the counter)

i dont have them but i really like the wine refrigerators installed inside - also i really like some of the doors of the cabinets to have clear glass in them.
i hear islands are good- you may want to consider one of those if you have the space

We took down a wall and put an island there instead. I am so glad we did it. it really opened up our small kitchen.

We get out house the end of the month and we are gutting the kitchen asap.
We plan on putting in a ton of cabinets for storage. I want one glass cabinet for display stuff and I want a small wine holder as well for afew bottles. The rest is that I just want a neat clean look w/o a lot of clutter. I want a decent sized kitchen table as that is where my family tends to always gravitate to, the kitchen.

i have three lazy susan cabinets which i love i put my spices on the tops ones. i also have roll out drawers in my pantry and untility cabinet that come in handy. i have a small pennisula that i use for extra counter space which is good especially when im baking.

Well we live in an apartment, but our kitchen is nice because it is a pretty good size for an apartment and we have plenty of room for our huge kitchen table, microwave cart, and garbage can....Our kitchen is set up so all of the above is on one side, and on the other side is the appliances and cabinets.
I also like that we have a window over the sink. I find it really brightens up the kitchen. Scott

We have cabinents with pull out shelves. Finally I can see my stuff!!!!
