Hi all-
I am trying to decide what color to do my bouquet in. The picture below is what I want, but try to picture it smaller and rounder. I originally wanted white roses, stephanotis and some fluffy flower (fresia maybe?), with the 'frosted' pinecones. Now I'm debating if I should go with the lavender, like in the picture. My girls are in black/white and holding 3 callalillies handtied in silver ribbon...

So should I go lavender roses and white stephanotis and fluffy flower OR all white...

P.S. I am having a chuppah with all roses, pinecones and greens, so the rose color would be reflected there too...

I like the lavender roses. It would be a beautiful contrast to the 'snow covered' pinecones and it would tie in nicely with the other girls and the chuppah.

Personally, I love the all-white look (but I'm biased b/c my bouquet was all white!), although, that bouquet you posted is gorgeous!!!

If you want color, aren't sterling roses less 'purple'? Would those work better than lavender?

What are your centerpieces like??

I like the lavender. I always think of stephanotis as a summer flower(I know it's not). All white might take away from your snowy effect.

I actually am having an all white bouquet but also thought I would go all white for my centerpieces but wound up adding lavender and it really looked nice. I think a little color would be nice and am thinking of changing mine myself!!

I think the picture you posted is beautiful. I am also a december bride and my centerpiece (bouquet is lavender) is lavender roses with silver christmas balls and white stock. I think your idea will be beautiful.

When I saw the freesia in my sample bouquet I felt it took away from the beautiful of the roses. I suggest using the lavendar roses, with white roses and stephanotis. Also, incorporate some lavendar roses into your BMs flowers and centerpieces to tie it all together. Very pretty winter bouquet.

I love it! When you described it to me over the phone I thought it would be really pretty and different and now that I see it in person, I LOVE IT!

You're right, the lavender roses adds a 'frosty' look to it. I agree with Kathi~ sterling roses will be less purple, but either way it looks terriffic!

I'm getting very excited about your wedding! You're next!

Thanks so much ladies...I'm going to ask about the sterling and compare it to the lavender.

My centerpieces are included in my hall, so they will not have roses. The room will be decorated for the holiday season, which is where everyone's attention will be, so I wasn't too concerned with upgrading the centerpieces (plus, we couldn't afford to, to be honest with you).

I got the pic from a friend actually who just got married last year, and is like the 'wedding guru', so she is always collecting stuff and sharing it!! She sent me this bouquet pic about a year ago, and I knew right away it was the one!

I dont know marni, that is a tough one. I usually like some color in the bouquets, so I guess my vote would be for the lavender.

I like the lavender. It looks beautiful. And I've heard people mention that it's good to have some contrast in your bouquet because all white may not show as well in pictures up against a white dress.

looks like i am in the minority! i like the all winter white! it's so frosty looking...you should add white winterberries too!
