My coworker/friend Alaina got engaged on Halloween on a ride in Cedar Point

I am sooo excited! I knew this was coming

I got engaged on 10/30 at Great Adventure so I relate to your friend. I'll have to tell FH about this! He was afraid to take the ring out on the ride b/c he thought he would drop it

I am finally engaged!!!! The first thing I did after returning home from Cedar Point was register on LI weddings. I knew it would be the first thing Julie would ask me when I told her this morning that I was engaged (I was right)

Johnny and I have been dating on and off for 12 years (no that is not a typo)! I knew it was coming eventually but, not this past weekend!!

We went to Ohio for my grandmothers 80th birthday (which I was not entirely enthusiastic about bc I had so much going on). He arranged to have his father and my sister there with us on Halloween at Cedar Point (amusement park). He planned on proposing to me while on a roller coaster (he is insane really). He had the ring in his pocket the whole time (upside down and all)!!! The last ride we were going to go on was the sky ride (which I hate) but it was the only ride his father asked to go on the whole time so I fiqured what the hell. Then when we got to the front of the line and the sign said max 4 people so I got nervous and said I only wanted 2 in a bucket at once (convenient for him right)!! Once we got in Johnny would not let me sit opposite him. I am arguing with him and telling him I am nervous so he says well will this make you feel any better and he held the ring out and asked me to marry him!!! Before I knew it we were off the ride and I was wearing the ring and I hadnt even said yes yet!! Obviously eventually I did!!!
