So, like many people out there, we're not getting salary increases this year. I just found out from my boss that a very select few of us will be chosen to receive a merit-based raise. Basically he will have to fight for me to get it (as will all of the department heads for their people), but he wants to do it because he thinks I deserve it. I'm not sure why he told me, but it made me realllly happy (and put knots in my stomach at the same time).
FH and I have so much debt to pay off. This would help so much.
Please send me all of your luck that you have to spare!! I'll know probably by the end of next week.
