He is going for his driver license tomorrow!!!!
His driving school teacher was supposed to give him his last lesson today but called my FH and told him someone hit his car so he cant practice.. the teacher said he will bring a different car for his test tomorrow
my FH says it will be fine but i'm getting worried because he just got used to the other car....
he has to pass.. I have to go to BB&B to do my last registry(i'm late) I have to go meet with a DJ company next week (still didnt find a DJ)
I'm freaking out right now and when I talk to FH he just keeps saying 'whatever what can I do about it...'
Someone please tell me its ok........ and pray that he still passes

i just received a call from my FH and he said that it didnt go well
he said he was really nervous... he came to a stop sign thinking it was an all way stop, stopped and went... the person told him to stop because he did not give the other person the right of way.. (turns out that it wasnt an all way stop and the other guy was just standing there)
we pushed everything(wedding planning wise) to next week thinking he will pass.. but now i have all these appointments and no way of getting there..... looks like we would have to spend over 100 in cabs next week
the next available test is next month in Long Island or he has to wait til june to take it in queens again....
i'm feeling very stressed and depressed and there is nothing I can do about it........

Sorry to hear he didn't pass.
Do you drive? Maybe you can rent a car for the day?
Good luck to him on the test in LI. I know it takes even some of the best drivers more than 1 try on the road test.

aww that sinks it is the luck of the draw with those instructors- i had an awful experience with a lady my first time around- actually it was very similar to your fh's story I am sure he will pass next time around- where in queens was the test?

i dont drive..
I got my permit when I was 16 but never driven..

it does stink... she didnt even care to look at anything else.. although FH did make a big mistake...
its funny because that guy (on the other side) shouldnt be standing but going.... I guess since he was just standing there my FH assumed it was an all way stop...
maybe it was another instructor...

Hannah, good luck to your FH. Is this his first time taking the road test? I failed twice in Brooklyn and once in Staten Island. I s*ck! BTW, Travel Tom rocks! He said he'd have something for me tonight, I'm not going to bed till I hear from him!!
hahhaha yeah it was his 1st time... he started taking driving classes last month.. he was soo confident and he failed lol
